Raincoats – ones that are truly made to protect you from the elements rather than the ones made to look fashionable – are always long, so that they can shield you and your clothes from the rain. If you are petite and have to wear a raincoat that is too long, it can really look rather awkward. So if possible you should try and get a coat in a petite size, if the color and general style suits you, of course.
